Donna Pomerson is the Senior Director of Operations Compliance-Food/Child Nutrition for Learning Care Group. She leads the company’s Operations Compliance-CACFP Department, where she oversees over 475 CACFP center-based programs across 30 states. She has worked in ECE/CACFP for the past 41yrs, 27 at LCG, and in a Senior Leadership role for the past 22 years. Previously, she spent 14 years working with the Head Start program.

Donna has taken the lead in making companywide nutritional improvements to all the Learning Care Group school menus. She is passionate in ensuring that all children have healthier options in schools. She believes in providing opportunities for children to experience programs where they learn skills for lifelong healthy eating habits and physical activity.

Instrumental in creating the company’s Grow Fit program, she also helped lead her company to join with the Partnership for a Healthier America. In 2017, Learning Care Group was named their “Partner of the Year”.

A member of NAEYC for over 25 years, she is also a member of the National Association for Regulatory Administration(NARA), the CCFP Roundtable, School Nutrition Association, the National CACFP Sponsors Association and the National CACFP Forum. Since May of 2015 she has served as an active board member on the National CACFP Forum executive board and is currently it’s Vice President.
