Bailey Ashbaker is a native of Oklahoma and has served as the Senior Policy and Engagement Specialist at Hunger Free Oklahoma since 2021. Bailey's work centers on advocating and educating about the importance of food and grocery assistance programs, supporting administrative and legislative campaigns that improve food access, and empowering community to engage in anti-hunger advocacy. In 2021, Bailey worked on a state appropriations campaign that helped grow the Double Up Oklahoma (DUO) GusNIp program into 40 grocery stores across Oklahoma. She has also led anti-hunger advocacy trainings and groups at both the state and federal levels, is a facilitator on the Oklahoma Child Food Security Coalition, and is currently participating in the Oklahoma Aging Advocacy Leadership Academy 2025. Bailey received her B.A. and M.A. in International and Global Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2021, and was a NexGen Under 30 Award Honoree in 2023.
