Nell Menefee-Libey serves as senior public policy manager for the National WIC Association, the membership organization and advocacy voice of the 12,000 public health nutrition service provider agencies who serve over 6.7 million mothers, babies, and young children participating in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). In her role, Nell works to build support for WIC on Capitol Hill and in the Administration, as well as representing NWA in a variety of cross-cutting, anti-poverty coalitions. Prior to joining NWA, Nell worked on maternal and child health policy at 1,000 Days and served as Congressional staff. She has a degree in the study of women and gender from Smith College.
